adding a photo to my post ?

Can anyone help me out on this one , have been trying to add a photo to one of my posts without any sucess, any ideas on where i could be going wrong. ???

to insert an image into one of your posts you need the exact address of the image, so right click it, properties and copy the address (url). Then click the little picture icon above. This will give you the following [img][/img], you need to insert the URL of the image in between the command brackets cos it's

Insert the URL between the YABBC image tags - click the picture icon above, 2nd row, 4th from the left.

Scheming_gypsy as the photo is stored on my computer you mentioned that i have to upload it to the internet :-/
Now .....I know what you mean but don't know how to go about it.
Where do i upload it to?

Do you mean open it with internet explorer is this the same thing ?

your image has to have a valid url address so you have to find a website to host it.

If you go to tinypic, click 'browse' and you upload it that way (don't need to register).

another system is photobucket - you have to register with them first but you have more control of your online pictures.

With both, once you've uploaded the pic, you are given the address to access it from.

You should make sure the pic is a small file (like a jpg) or they might resize it.
